    Q5 Playback 0.2.0 Stable

stanta released this 2026-10-29 14:39:34 +00:00 | 0 commits to main since this release

Windows x64 ASIO stereo playback for the Qudelix-5K USB DAC through event-driven WASAPI exclusive mode.

    • Native settings/tray app with approximately 3, 6, and 10 ms buffer profiles.
    • Supports 44.1, 48, 88.2, and 96 kHz.
    • Download Q5-Playback-Setup-0.2.0-x64.exe to install. Close DAWs and exit the Q5 Playback tray app first. Installation requires administrator rights; installer is unsigned.
    • Matching GPL-3.0-only project source and the complete ASIO SDK used in the build are included in the installer and attached separately.

Validation: fresh MSVC Release build and Inno Setup compilation succeeded. Prior user testing confirmed REAPER playback and installer use. Ableton and longer-session testing remain unconfirmed. Buffer durations are not measured analog/end-to-end latency. Exclusive output does not support simultaneous playback by other applications.
