Outcome

Confirm and enforce the approved SSH password-authentication policy on the dedicated Proxmox host.

Current state

The dedicated server status still lists the password-authentication review as pending. Recovery access must remain available.

Work

Record effective sshd settings and include files.
Confirm key access through normal and IPv6 recovery paths.
Decide whether any password path is required.
Apply the approved narrow change.
Test normal and break-glass access before closing the original session.

Validation

Effective sshd configuration matches policy.
Both normal and recovery key paths work.
Public password authentication is not enabled unintentionally.
