Outcome

Confirm FreeIPA HTTP worker limits fit current load and prevent the previous scoreboard-full failure mode.

Current state

The repository records a prior FreeIPA scoreboard-full incident. Current limits have not received a fresh usage-based review.

Work

  • Collect current Apache worker settings and peak use.
  • Review relevant FreeIPA and Apache guidance.
  • Decide whether limits need adjustment.
  • Apply a narrow change if evidence supports it.
  • Test authentication and certificate services.

Validation

  • The chosen limits and evidence are recorded.
  • LDAP, Kerberos, web UI, and certificate services remain healthy.
