Outcome

Confirm every stateful host has backup coverage and test one restore for each distinct state type.

Current state

Restic monitoring exists, but complete state coverage and restore behavior need an operator audit.

Work

Inventory stateful hosts and state types.
Match each state type to a backup definition.
Identify unprotected state.
Restore one example of each state type into a safe target.
Record recovery time and missing dependencies.

Validation

Every stateful host has an explicit backup or rebuild decision.
Each distinct state type has a verified restore.
No live service is overwritten during testing.
